Hi, I’m Larissa! I am a certified Reading Specialist, and I am mom to two young boys. Reading has always been a passion of mine, and now I am lucky enough to have a career that is focused on supporting children, teachers, and families to feel the same!

I know how much money I have spent buying books for my own kids and students that “look cute,” but then I get them… and I’m disappointed. I want to create a resource for you that helps you feel confident in knowing the books you choose are GOOD! The books we feature are hand-selected by me to be high-quality. I look at the content, illustrations/photos, and think about the teaching points that each book can provide to instill early literacy skills for all of our kids!
